Jericho Road Pasadena and Mayor Terry Tornek invite you to a virtual prayer event which coincides with the National Day of Prayer. This inspirational community event is open to not only people of multiple faiths, but also to business people, nonprofits and community residents.
How to participate in the virtual event:
1. Order breakfast from your favorite local restaurant; a list of restaurants open for takeout and delivery is at visitpasadena.com/pasadenabusinesses.
2. On May 7 at 8 am, log into Facebook: facebook.com/PasadenaInterfaithPrayerBreakfastPasadenaMedia.org. If you don’t have a Facebook account, you can also view the event on PasadenaMedia.org or Pasadena Media’s Arroyo channel (Charter Spectrum 32 or AT&T U-Verse 99).
3. Make the event as interactive as possible by sharing your prayers, comments and photos using #PasadenaPrayerBreakfast.
4. Jericho Road Pasadena is happy to produce this event at no cost to participants, but we greatly welcome your donations!
Different nonprofits from around the community organize the breakfast and JRP is proud to be the 2020 organizer! The breakfast is organized by Jericho Road Pasadena (www.jrpasadena.org). JRP is a community-based nonprofit that supports other nonprofits; by matching skilled volunteers and board members, JRP helps nonprofits thrive, thereby creating a better community for all.
