Finding Your 2020 Vision

The Importance of 20 /20 Vision: It’s a new decade, filled with possibilities…..possibilities for our organizations to make a bigger impact as they serve our communities. Presenter Yolanda Williams (https://yolandakaye.com/) challenged us to make a personal strategic plan, just like we do for our organizations. She gave us four Cs to work:

• Clear: What is our vision for ourselves, not only as nonprofit leaders, but in our personal lives? What values guide our decisions and our priorities?
• Concrete: create specific objectives, just like we do in organizational plans
• Concise: Make objectives SMART: specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-bound
• Compelling: What motivates you? What makes your like beautiful? What fills you with joy?
